SCADA / HMI Software Engineer
About the role
Join our software team to build centralized SCADA and reporting systems. You will design screen layouts, database structures and communication drivers that connect shop-floor equipment to management dashboards.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and program SCADA/HMI applications and historian databases.
- Develop communication drivers for Modbus, OPC UA, IEC 61850 and database links.
- Build real-time trend, alarm management and production reporting screens.
- Integrate SCADA with ERP/MES systems through APIs and SQL.
- Write technical documentation and user manuals, and train end users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience with SCADA / HMI platforms.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Basic scripting (VBScript, C#, Python or JavaScript) for custom features.
- Understanding of industrial network architecture and cyber-security good practice.
